- A 5 minute walk will take you to the cinder track which follows the route of the old Scarborough-Whitby railway line which was laid on cinders rather than the usual crushed stone. It passes through eight old station stops and there are plenty of places to enjoy a drink and bite to eat on route. Bike hire is available close by.
